UT of J&K reported 3614 fresh positive cases, J&K Official Media Bulletin

In Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, 3614 new positive cases have been
reported since our last update yesterday, 1496 from Jammu Division and 2118 from
Kashmir Division. Moreover 2855 more COVID-19 patients have recovered, 1070
from Jammu Division and 1785 from Kashmir Division. Also 56 COVID-19 deaths
have been reported, 39 from Jammu Division and 17 from Kashmir Division (10 May
2021; upto 5:00 PM).

2. To ensure public convenience and avoid chaos & panic crowding at tertiary care
hospitals, COVID-19 Triage Facility has been started in Jammu at (i) Chest Disease
Hospital, Jammu (opposite GMC Hospital Complex, Jammu, Triage CD Hospital
Jammu Contact No.-9541925371, 0191-2561000), (ii) Govt Hospital Gandhinagar
(Old Block) Contact No.0191-2459300 and in Srinagar at (i) National Institute of
Technology Campus, Hazratbal, Srinagar, Contact No. 9419006991 & (ii) SKIMSJVC
Bemina, Contact No. 7006617821, that shall act as β€œfirst arrival point” for
screening of any COVID +ve patient intending to get admitted in Govt. Medical
College Jammu/ Srinagar & Associated Hospitals, SKIMS Soura and other identified
dedicated COVID Hospitals under Directorate of Health Services Jammu/ Kashmir.
For COVID +ve cases in periphery areas and districts other than Jammu/ Srinagar, the
triage point shall be the concerned District Hospital / New GMCs (Doda/ Kathua/
Rajouri/ Baramulla/ Anantnag). Admission of such patients from these districts to
GMC Jammu/ Srinagar, SKIMS Soura etc shall be strictly on referral basis only.

3. For the residents of J&K, under National Tele-consultation Service, free general OPD
services by Specialists/ MBBS Doctors have been started. People can avail these
services from home by registering online on webportal https://esanjeevaniopd.in/. The
services are available Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. People can also
download & install esanjeevani OPD app from google playstore on their mobiles.

4. Toll free national helpline number 1075. J&K Covid-19 Helpline No.s Jammu
Division- 0191-2520982/ 2674444/ 2674115 / 2674908/ 2549676, Kashmir Division-
0194-2440283/ 2430581/ 2452052/ 2457313/ 2457312 for support, guidance, and
response to health related queries on COVID-19.

5. People are informed that, the best way to protect themselves from COVID-19 is by
getting vaccinated for COVID-19 at their turn, maintaining physical distance of at least
6 feet from others, frequently cleaning hands with an alcohol based hand sanitizer or
washing them with soap & water and following good respiratory etiquettes & hygiene.

6. As a measure for social distancing in public places & workplaces wearing a face cover
is compulsory.

7. Early detection of COVID-19 can prevent the spread of disease, let us be responsible
