Order

Whereas, Government Medical College, Anantnag, vide Advertisement Notice No. 04 GMCA of 2026, dated 10-02-2026, invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement against the post of Nurse, Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) Centre under the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), AIIMS on a contractual basis for a period of one (01) year or till the life of the scheme, whichever is earlier, subject to satisfactory performance and the terms and conditions mentioned in the advertisement.

Whereas, pursuant to Notification No. GMCA/Estt./Rec./2026/4608-13, dated 15-05-2026, Ms. Rabiya Shamus, D/o Mr. Shamus U Din Peerzada, R/o Anderhama Drugmulla, Kupwara, was selected for the post of Nurse, Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF).

Whereas, Ms. Rabiya Shamus was subsequently selected for the post of Junior Staff Nurse under Advertisement Notice No. 03 GMCA of 2026, dated 05-02-2026, on an academic arrangement basis under S.O. 364 of 2020, vide Notification No. GMCA/Estt./Rec./2026/5458-63, dated 15-06-2026.

Whereas, after submitting her documents for the post of Junior Staff Nurse, Ms. Rabiya Shamus opted to join the post of Junior Staff Nurse.

Cancellation of Selection

Accordingly, the selection of Ms. Rabiya Shamus for the post of Nurse (ATF) is hereby cancelled ab-initio.

Selection from Waiting List

Consequent upon the cancellation of the above selection, Mr. Mohammad Imran Mir, S/o Mohammad Ramzan Mir, R/o Hassanpora, Bijbehara, Anantnag, who was placed at Serial No. 01 in the waiting list as per Notification No. GMCA/Estt./Rec./2026/4608-13, dated 15-05-2026, is hereby selected for the post of Nurse, Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) Centre at Government Medical College, Anantnag under the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), AIIMS.

The engagement shall be on a contractual basis for a period of one (01) year or till the life of the scheme, whichever is earlier, subject to the terms and conditions of the advertisement and satisfactory performance.

Joining Instructions

The selected candidate shall report to the Principal, Government Medical College, Anantnag, within five (05) days from the date of issuance of this order for:

Submission of all required documents.

Verification of Character and Antecedents (CID Verification).

Failure to report within the stipulated period shall result in the cancellation of the selection ab-initio without any further notice.
