Conduct of Written Test for Senior Resident (Anatomy)

Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag has issued a notification regarding the conduct of the written test for the post of Senior Resident in the Discipline of Anatomy.

The written examination will be conducted for eligible candidates who have applied for the post in response to Advertisement Notice No. 10 of 2026 dated 10.06.2026.

Written Test Date and Venue

The written test for the post of Senior Resident (Anatomy) is scheduled to be held on:

Candidates appearing for the examination are advised to reach the examination venue well before the scheduled reporting/examination time and follow all instructions issued by the college authorities.

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official GMC Anantnag website from 04 September 2026 (Friday) onwards.

Candidates may also collect their admit cards from the Office of IT Section, GMC Anantnag.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates appearing for the written examination should carefully follow the instructions mentioned on their admit cards.

Candidates must read all the instructions carefully before appearing for the examination.

Candidates are advised to report to the examination centre one hour prior to the scheduled examination time.

Candidates must bring a valid Photo ID Proof (original and one recent passport-size photograph) to the examination centre. Candidates who fail to produce the required documents may not be permitted to appear in the examination.

Candidates should ensure that they meet all the required eligibility criteria and pre-requisites for the post on the date of the examination.

No electronic gadgets or mobile phones will be allowed inside the examination centre.

Candidates found carrying or using prohibited electronic devices or engaging in any unfair means during the examination will face strict action. If any such activity is detected, the candidate’s candidature will be cancelled, and further action under the applicable rules may be initiated.
