ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2026–27/28
In pursuance to the Directorate of Skill Development J&K, Srinagar’s Admission Notice issued under endorsement No. DSD/401/Trgs/2026/e-7905971/829-925, dated 26-05-2026, online applications are invited from the desirous candidates for seeking admission in Govt. ITI Banihal for the academic session 2026–27/28 in various Engineering/Non-Engineering trades as detailed below.
The courses have a duration of Two years/One year for free & self-financing seats under NCVT/SCVT Schemes.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum age: 14 years as on 1st September 2026
No upper age limit

Marks Certificate of qualifying examination
Date of Birth Certificate (preferably 10th class marks certificate)
Category Certificate (SC/ST1/ST2/Ex-serviceman/OBC/EWS/PH), if applicable
Aadhaar Card
Domicile Certificate (to be produced at the time of admission)
Application Fee
₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred only)
Applicable for up to three trades
To be deposited at the institute after submitting the online form

Important Notes
Selection will be based purely on academic merit in the qualifying examination.
Certificates will be awarded by NCVT/SCVT upon successful completion.
Candidates already trained in any ITI trade can apply after 2 years, subject to conditions.
