J&K High Court Junior Assistant Exam Notice

The Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, through an outsourced agency, conducted the written examination for the posts of Junior Assistants in the High Court of J&K and Ladakh at various examination centres across Jammu & Kashmir on 19 July 2026 (Sunday).

During the course of the examination, it was brought to the notice of the Hon’ble High Court that at one of the examination centres, namely Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Nardani, Kot Bhalwal, the examination material fell short. As a result, 67 candidates who were present at the centre were not provided with OMR answer sheets and question booklets, due to which they could not appear in the examination.

The Registrar Recruitment, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, brought this matter to the notice of the Hon’ble High Court.

Accordingly, it has been resolved that the 67 affected candidates who could not appear in the examination due to the shortage of examination material shall be informed through a public notice that their examination will be conducted within two weeks.

The date, time, and venue for the fresh examination will be notified within the next two days.
