It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned candidates that the OMR Based Written Examination for the posts of Sanitary Inspector and Junior Ophthalmic Technician (Health & Medical Education Department), advertised vide Notification No. 07 of 2025, which was scheduled to be held on 08-07-2026 in Shift I (11:00 AM to 01:00 PM) and Shift II (3:00 PM to 05:00 PM) respectively, is hereby postponed and shall now be conducted on 09-07-2026 (Thursday). The timings and venues shall remain the same.

The Admit Cards issued earlier shall remain valid for the examinations on the rescheduled date i.e. 09-07-2026 (Thursday).

JKSSB Admit Card Notice – for Sanitary Inspector and Junior Ophthalmic Technician posts under Notification No. 07 of 2025.

  • Exam date: 08 July 2026
  • Sanitary Inspector exam timing: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Junior Ophthalmic Technician exam timing: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Important points from the notice:

  • JKSSB will release the Admit Cards from 03 July 2026 on its official website.
  • Candidates have to download the admit card using their login credentials.
  • If someone is unable to download the admit card, they can approach the Board 2 days before the exam with:
    • proof of online application form
    • proof of fee payment
  • Candidates must reach the exam centre at least 2 hours before the exam time for biometric/facial authentication.
  • Take a printout of the admit card well in advance.
  • If there is any photo mismatch on the admit card, report it immediately to JKSSB office or email at [email protected].
  • Any misrepresentation, concealment of facts, impersonation or fraud can lead to cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action.
  • JKSSB can cancel candidature at any stage if the candidate is found ineligible.
  • Admit cards will not be sent by post. Candidates must keep checking JKSSB website for updates.
  • After the exam, candidates must submit the admit card back to the invigilation staff, signed by both the candidate and invigilator.

  1. Visit JKSSB official website
  2. Open the E-Admit Card link on homepage
  3. Click Download Admit Card
  4. Login with Username and Password
  5. Download and print the admit card
  6. Carry a clear printed copy on exam day
