JKSSB Instructions for Submission of Application Forms for 72 Posts
The J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued instructions for submission of online application forms for the 72 posts advertised under the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, pursuant to Advertisement Notification No. 07 of 2026 dated 08.07.2026.
Important Dates
Online Application Form Submission: 10 August 2026 (12:00 AM) to 08 September 2026 (11:59 PM)
Online Fee Payment: 10 August 2026 (12:00 AM) to 08 September 2026 (11:59 PM)
How to Apply
Candidates have to apply online only through the official JKSSB website. No other mode of application will be accepted.
Candidates need to register by selecting “Log-in (Apply on Various Posts)” and then using “New User / Sign Up” to create their login credentials. A valid email ID and mobile number are required for OTP verification.
After registration, candidates must:
Complete OTR (One-Time Registration)
Click on “Active Advertisement”
Click on “Apply” for the relevant post
Fill in all required details and click “SAVE & CONTINUE”
Documents Required
Live Photograph: Candidates must upload/capture their live photograph as specified in Annexure-A.
Signature: Maximum size 10–20 KB; dimensions 1.5 × 3.5 cm.
Category Certificate: Valid on the cut-off date; maximum 100 KB, in PDF format.
Qualification Certificate(s): Valid on the cut-off date; maximum 100 KB, in PDF format. Essential qualification/experience certificates, wherever required for the post, must also be uploaded.
Important: Application Cannot Be Edited After Submission
Candidates must carefully verify all information before final submission. Once submitted, the application form cannot be edited.
The information provided in the application will be treated as final for determining eligibility and claims. Category and other benefits will be considered only if properly claimed in the application and supported by a valid certificate within the cut-off date.
Application Fee
The application will be considered incomplete if the fee is not paid.
Payment can be made through:
Net Banking
Debit Card
UPI
Credit Card
After completing the form, candidates will see the “Pay Now” option. Candidates should verify that the payment status on their dashboard shows “Submitted.”
Hard Copy
Candidates do not need to submit a hard copy/printout of the application form, except shortlisted candidates at the Document Verification (DV) stage.
In-service candidates, however, have to submit the filled application form along with the duly filled, signed and stamped certificate given at the end of the application form through proper channel (TPC).
Important Advice
Candidates are advised to submit the application and fee well before the closing date. JKSSB has specifically cautioned candidates against waiting until the last day because heavy website traffic may cause login problems, disconnection or failure in submitting the application.
Live Face Verification – Mandatory
As per Annexure-A on page 5, live face capture through the device camera is mandatory. The application cannot be submitted without successful face verification.
Uploaded photographs or screenshots will not be accepted. Candidates should use a working laptop webcam or mobile camera and allow browser camera access.
For successful verification:
Use good, even lighting
Keep the face clearly visible and sharp
Look directly at the camera
Keep the face centered and straight
Only one face should be visible
Candidates must not wear masks, caps, hats, helmets, sunglasses/dark glasses, or cover their face with hands. Printed photographs and images displayed on mobile screens are also not permitted.
If verification fails, candidates can retry after following the on-screen instructions. Do not refresh or close the page during the live capture process.
