Key Highlights
JKSSB has shortlisted candidates for the Skill Test (Type Test) for the post of Junior Assistant (Various Departments) advertised under Notification No. 08 of 2025.
The OMR-based written examination for these posts was held on 19 April 2026.
The Final Answer Key was notified on 24 June 2026 after considering objections received against the provisional answer key.
The Skill Test (Type Test) is tentatively scheduled in the first fortnight of July 2026 at NIELIT Jammu/Srinagar.
The list of shortlisted candidates is provided in Annexure-A.
Exact dates and admit card download schedule will be notified separately.
Important Instructions
Being called for the Skill Test does not guarantee selection. Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions.
Candidates who fail to appear on the scheduled date will lose their claim for further consideration.
Candidates must bring:
Admit Card
One original Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, etc.)
Candidates found ineligible at the time of the Skill Test will not be allowed to appear.
Use of fake documents, impersonation, false information, or canvassing can lead to criminal prosecution and debarment from JKSSB recruitments.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Skill Test.
