Scholarship for Children of Artisans and Weavers: 2026–27
Implementation of Education Scheme for grant of Scholarship to the wards/children artisans/ Weavers for the year 2026-27
Notification
Applications on prescribed form are invited from Children of Registered Artisans/ Weavers for grant of Scholarship, notified vide Govt. order No 80-JK(IND) of 2022 dated 12.05.2022. The payment shall be made on DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode to the beneficiary after producing the valid fee receipt duly signed by the Head of School/Institute subject to the following conditions:-
a. Having Below Poverty Line (BPL), PHH, AAY Ration Card or
b. Having Economic Weaker Section (EWS) certificate or
c. Having income less than Rs 90,000/- per annum with income certificate issued by the Ist class Magistrate/Tehsildar concerned. Besides, the applicant shall seek NOC from the concerned Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) and Tehsil Social Welfare officer (TSWO), that he/she has not availed any benefit the under the following schemes being implemented by these department:-

1. Pre Matric Scholarship.
2. Post-Matric Scholarship scheme.
3. Prime Minister’s Scholarship scheme.
4. Any other scheme.
Documents to be attached with prescribed form
1. Domicile certificate
2. Marks sheet of previous year
3. Aadhar Card
4. Pan Card
5. Bank Passbook
6. Category Certificate, if any.
7. Ration Card/EWS certificate/Income certificate.
8. NOC from concerned Zonal Education Officer and Tehsil Social Welfare Officer.
9. Bonafide Certificate issued by the Head of the School/institute.
Interested children of Artisans may submit their applications form duly supported by the requisite formalities within one month in the office of the undersigned.
