Heatwave Grips Jammu; Rain & Thunderstorms Likely Across J&K From June 11
The weather in Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain mostly dry over the next two days, with heatwave conditions continuing in the plains of Jammu Division. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated heatwave conditions in Jammu on June 9 and 10.
According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, isolated light rain and thunderstorms are likely in Kashmir Division during the next 24 hours, while Jammu Division will largely remain dry.

Temperature Update
Temperatures remain above normal across many parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 30.3°C, while Kathua was the hottest place in Jammu Division at 42.2°C during the past 24 hours.
