JKBOSE Opens Migration, Eligibility Registration for Classes 10–12
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a notification regarding the online submission of Inter-School Migration and Eligibility-cum-Registration cases for the academic session 2026-27 in the Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division.
Categories Covered
1. Inter-School Migration (On-Roll Regular Students)
Eligible on-roll students seeking migration from one JKBOSE-affiliated school to another JKBOSE-affiliated school (within district, inter-district, or division-to-division) for:
Class 10th
Class 12th
2. Eligibility-cum-Migration (Students from CBSE and Other Recognized Boards)
Eligible students of CBSE and other recognized boards seeking migration to JKBOSE in:
Class 10th
Class 11th
Class 12th

A. Inter-School Migration Cases

Registration Fee: ₹705

Important Instructions
Applications will be accepted only through online mode.
No application will be entertained after the prescribed schedule under any circumstances.
Incomplete, incorrect, or deficient applications will be rejected without prior notice.
Fees once deposited shall neither be refunded nor adjusted.
Grant of Migration and Eligibility-cum-Registration will be subject to verification of documents and approval by JKBOSE.
Heads of Institutions (HOIs) shall recommend and forward only those cases that fulfill all eligibility conditions.
Institutions must properly verify all documents, including:
Pass Certificates
Transfer Certificates
Discharge Certificates
Recommending ineligible candidates will be treated as an irregularity and may invite action against the concerned Head of Institution.
The schedule for subject change, wherever applicable, shall remain the same as this notified schedule.
Students seeking a subject change in Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) must have passed the corresponding subject(s) in Class 11th; otherwise, their Class 12th result may be withheld under the D.E. Category.
