Rain, Thunderstorms Likely Across J&K From Oct 6: MET

Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness partly to generally cloudy weather with light rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunderstorms and gusty winds at scattered to many places from October 6 to 10.
Director MET Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad as per news agency , the weather is expected to remain generally dry on October 5.

For October 11-15, the Director MET said partly cloudy weather is expected across Jammu and Kashmir.
The Meteorological Department has advised people, particularly farmers and fruit growers, to ensure safe storage of apple and paddy during October 6-10 in view of the expected weather conditions.
