Allowed both sides (Jammu ↔ Srinagar)

HMVs:

Movement allowed as per decision by Traffic Control Unit (TCU) Ramban

SFs Convoy:

Allowed both sides after confirmation from TCU Ramban

❄️ Road Closures

Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag (NH-244)

❌ Closed for vehicular movement

Reason: Fresh snow accumulation

🛤️ SSG Road (Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumri)

Subject to fair weather & clearance from BRO

LMVs allowed

HMVs (up to 06 tyres) allowed with anti-skid chains

Timing:

Sonamarg → Kargil: 1100 hrs to 1500 hrs

Motorists advised to carry anti-skid chains

TCU Srinagar & PCR Kargil will inform public about cut-off timing

SFs convoy to plan movement carefully to avoid civilian disruption

Subject to fair weather & clearance from Road Maintenance Agencies (GREF)

LMVs / Passenger vehicles / Private cars allowed with anti-skid chains

Route: Jammu ↔ Srinagar

Via:

Poonch – Bhaleshwari – Shopian

Cut-off timing: 1030 hrs to 1430 hrs

No vehicle allowed after cut-off
