TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 27-11-2025
🔵 NH-44 (Jammu–Srinagar Highway)
From 25 Nov (1600 hrs) to 26 Nov (1600 hrs), NH-44 remained blocked due to the breakdown of a loaded truck in the middle of the road at Nachlana.
Slow movement was also observed between Nashri–Nav Yug Tunnel, at Bali Nalla, Dewal, Nasri–Dalwas, Marog, Kishtwari Pather, plus at several locations due to narrow road stretches.
Movement of HMVs will be allowed on NH-44, in addition to the normal 0.3 HMVs.
⚠️ Advisory for Passengers & LMVs
Passengers/LMVs are advised to travel during day hours only.
Slow HMV movement from Nashri → NavYug Tunnel and migration of nomads from Kashmir valley may cause inconvenience.

No overtaking to avoid traffic congestion.
🚗 LMVs / HMVs Movement (Subject to weather & road conditions)
LMVs (Passenger/Private Cars/HMVs – good condition) will be allowed:
From Jammu to Srinagar
From Srinagar to Jammu
TCU Jammu & TCU Ramban will coordinate movement.
🟢 Security Forces (SFs) Convoy Movement
SF vehicles allowed both sides (Jammu ↔ Srinagar NH-44) after confirmation from TCU Ramban.
Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag NH-244
LMVs allowed from both sides after clearance from NHDICL.
Vehicles allowed from:
Anantnag → Kishtwar: 0900 hrs to 1300 hrs
Paddar → Sinthan Top → Anantnag: 1000 hrs to 1500 hrs
SSG Road (Sonamarg–Gumri–Minimarg–Kargil)
If road and weather conditions are good:
Movement allowed one-way at a time:
Minimarg → Srinagar: 1000–1300 hrs
Srinagar → Minimarg: 1430–1730 hrs
LMVs followed by HMVs allowed as per schedule.
No vehicle allowed after cut-off timings.
SF convoy:
SF convoy from Srinagar → Kargil will move in a way that civil traffic is not disrupted.
Mughal Road (Shopian–Poonch)
(Subject to clearance from road maintenance agencies)
LMVs (Passenger/Private Cars) allowed both sides:
Jammu ↔ Poonch (Via Behramgalla/Bafliaz)
Movement timings: 0600–1700 hrs (as per J&K Govt order)
HMVs NOT ALLOWED on Mughal Road.
TCU Jammu & TCU Srinagar will update road status.
