Jammu & Kashmir Educational Institutions Holiday:
All government and private schools, colleges, and other educational institutions across Jammu & Kashmir will remain closed tomorrow, September 4, 2026 (Friday), on the occasion of Janmashtami.
The holiday will be observed across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, providing students, teaching staff and other employees of educational institutions a day off to celebrate the festival of Janmashtami.

As per the holiday announcement, *all Government and Private Schools in Jammu & Kashmir will remain closed on Friday, September 4, 2026*.
