Kashmir News: NIA Raids House of Detained ‘OGW’ in Ikhrajpora in Ongoing Terror Probe

A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), on Wednesday carried out a raid at a residential house in Rustum Colony, Ikhrajpora area of Srinagar, in connection with an ongoing terror-related investigation.

The raid was conducted at the residence of Hashim Farooq Mir, son of Farooq Ahmad Mir, who has been identified as an Over Ground Worker (OGW) and is presently detained under the Public Safety Act (PSA) at Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu

Sources told Srinagar based news agency that the raid was part of the ongoing investigation in Case FIR No. RC 01 of 2025 under sections 16, 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Section 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) of NIA Jammu, and initially the FIR No. 66/2024 under Sections 13, 18, 39 of the UAPA, the Explosive Substances Act (Sections 3/4), and Sections 103, 109, 115(2), and 3(5) of the BNS, was registered at Police Station Kothibagh.

Further investigation is underway.
