One Terrorist Killed in Budgam Encounter, Ops On
Srinagar, Sept 29 : One terrorist was killed during an exchange of fire with security forces in the Korag area of Yousmarg in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, officials said.
Based on specific intelligence input, a joint search operation was launched by the Indian Army, J&K Police and CRPF in the general area of Korag, Yousmarg, Chinar Corps of Indian Army wrote on X.
Troops observed suspicious activity and challenged the individuals, following which terrorists opened fire, triggering a fierce exchange of gunfire.
During the exchange, one terrorist was killed, while the operation in the area was underway. (JKNS)

Srinagar, Sep 29: Encounter breaks out in Gurwatkalan area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday, officials said.
An official told that a joint team of security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area following specific inputs.
As forces zeroed in on the suspected spot, hiding terrorists opened fire, triggering an encounter, he said.
