Defense

The Union Cabinet under PM Narendra Modi gave a clearance and green signal to the MoU between ISRO and MRIC along with the MEA for the development of joint small satellite helpful for both India and Mauritius strategically and scientifically.
The joint satellite building will also help in ensuring MRIC support from their ground station for ISRO’s small satellite mission in future.
The estimated cost for the joint satellite is Rs 20 crores.
