1. 54th World Economic Forum Summit Begins in Davos, Switzerland
- The 54th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum has begun at Davos, Switzerland.
- The theme of the conference is Rebuilding Trust, emphasizing the focus on exploring the opportunities enabled by the new technologies and their implications on decision-making and global partnership.
- Issues related to climate change, threats from artificial intelligence, economic issues, cooperation amid geopolitical fragmentation and other problems across the globe will be discussed.

2. President Murmu on 3-day visit of Meghalaya & Assam
- President Droupadi Murmu will be on a three-day visit to Meghalaya and Assam.
- Today, the President will inaugurate the Meghalaya Games at the PA Sangma Stadium in Tura.
- Tomorrow, she will address the members of Self-Help Groups at Baljek Airport in Tura.
- The President will also lay the foundation stones for the Shillong Peak Ropeway and tourist accommodations in the villages of Kongthong, Mawlyngot, and Kudengrim.
