Islamia College of Science & Commerce Kashmir Admission Selection list for Various Programmes

SELECTION LIST NO : 02 ADMISSION FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2022 UNDER NEP 2020 FOR IPG (4+1) & UG (3+1) PROGRAMMES

All those candidates who have applied for admission to various programmes for the academic Session 2022 under NEP 2020 in response to this College Admission Notification No. 01 of 2022 issued vide No. ICS/642-52/A-7 dated: 28th of May 2022, followed by corrigendum vide No. ICS/849- 61/A-7 dated: 09/06/2022 and have exhibited their choice of preferences and have not figured in Selection list No. 1 are informed that the selection list No. 2 in order of merit is displayed on the College website www.islamiacollege.edu.in.

The window of the admission for selected candidates (Selection List No.2) shall be operational from 07-07-2022 to 14-07-2022 upto 4:00 PM only.

Candidates are advised to complete the admission related formalities within the stipulated time window only.

Candidates who have been admitted under selection list No. 1 and are now selected in list No.2 in a programme of higher preference must report to the Admission Section of the College from 07-07-2022 to 14-07-2022 for completion of admission formalities. They have not to submit any online form.

The procedure for completion of the admission by selected candidates will be as follows:

Visit College website www.islamiacollege.edu.in and navigate to submit the Admission form Link.

Login using “Board Roll No.” and “Password” as set by candidate at the time of submission of selection form.

Enter Board Roll No. of 12th class against which the candidate is selected for a particular programme.

Fill in the requisite details on the form, upload a Recent Passport Size Photograph and any other relevant information that may need to be filled. Take a Printout (hardcopy) of the form and proceed to the payment gateway for making online fee payment. Payment can only be made through online mode such as Credit Card/Debit Card, Net-Banking, UPI etc. via College Website only.

Take printout (Hardcopy) of the fee receipt and admission form.

Visit the College Admission Section to submit the Hardcopy (Printout) of Admission Form and the Fee paid receipt.

The candidate has also to submit the following documents in original with the Admission Section of the College.

Original 12th Class marks card along-with two self attested photocopies.

Original 10th Class marks card along-with two self attested photocopies.

Original Provisional and Character Certificate issued by the institution last attended.

Original Category certificate issued by the competent authority (if any), along-with two self attested photocopies.

IMPORTANT INSTRUTIONS:

Those of the candidates who fail to complete the admission formalities within the stipulated Admission Window timeline (07-07-2022 to 14-07-2022) shall cease their chance of admission in selected programme and no request or application for consideration whatsoever shall be entertained in this regard. The vacancy created shall be offered to next candidate per merit through subsequent Selection lists(s).

The admission to the programme is purely on provisional basis and is subject to the verification of the document / certificates submitted by the candidate.

Submission of any fake/tempered/forged documents/certificate shall lead to the cancellation of admission and legal action under rules shall follow.

If any candidate faces any difficulty with regard to submission of admission form, the candidate can visit the College Admission Section during working hours and can seek assistance in submission of admission form. However, the candidate has to use his his/her own means of online payment facility such as credit/debit card etc.

Mere downloading the admission form and keeping the same without fulfilling the required formalities of its scrutiny by the College and subsequent submission in the admission section of the College will not entitle candidate for admission in the selected programme.
