JKBOPEE Notification Regarding M.Sc. Technology Courses

Conduct of Second/Mop-up Round of the counselling (Physical) of the candidates for admission to the M.Sc. Technology Courses, 2023 in the SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar.

Pursuant to the Notification No.004-BOPEE of 2024 dated 05.01.2024, the J&K BOPEE conducted the first round of counselling of the eligible candidates for admission to the M.Sc. Technology Courses, 2023 in the SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar on 5th of January,2024.

In order to fill up the seats which have been received as shortfall from the SKIMS and the seats which have remained unfilled after conclusion of the 1st round of counselling, it is hereby notified that the Board shall conduct the 2nd/Mop- up round of Physical counselling for allotment of the available seats to the eligible candidates for admission to these courses as per the following schedule

Note : 

1. The candidates shall have to report at the BOPEE Office Srinagar/Jammu physically for registration/attendance and fulfilment of the other formalities between 9.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. on the day/date of counselling i.e., 19.01.2024; and

2. The candidates participating in the counselling for the first time shall have to deposit an amount of Rs.1000/- (Non-refundable) as counselling fee on the day of counselling through the POS Machines kept available at the respective BOPEE Offices Srinagar/Jammu through the Credit/Debit cards; and

3. The candidates who have missed the first round of the counselling shall be eligible to participate in this round of the counselling; and

4. The candidates who have been allotted the seats during the first round of the counselling but have failed to join due to one or the other reasons shall also be eligible to participate in this round of counselling; and

5. The candidates are advised to bring along the original documents/certificates including the Domicile Certificate, Category Certificate, if any, issued by the competent authority which shall be presented by them at the time of the counselling for check and verification by the Board; and

6. The Board reserves the right to make any change(s) as may become necessary in view of any technical difficulty or the reasons beyond its control; and

7. The course-wise eligibility shall be verified during the counselling by the experts from the SKIMS Soura, Srinagar; and

8. As and when the available seats shall be fully exhausted, the counselling process shall automatically be closed and no further claim regarding refund of counselling fee and allotment of seat(s) shall be entertained by the Board under any circumstances; and

9. The seat matrix shall be uploaded on the official website of the Board separately before the day of counselling for the information of the aspiring candidates.

10. For latest updates relating to the counselling and availability of seats, the candidates are advised to remain in touch with the website of the Board: viz.; www.ikbopee.gov.m. The other Terms and Conditions shall, however, remain the same as notified by the Board in various Notifications/Notices issued from time to time in this regard.
