Selection Notice of Anganwadi Workers in Mahore

Selection of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) in respect of POSHAN Project Mahore

In compliance to Govt. Order No. 222 JK(SWD) of 2022 dated:- 30-11-2022, this office had issued the relieving orders to all those Anganwadi Workers who have attained the age of 60 years as on 31-12-2022. 28 nos. of posts of Anganwadi Workers were vacant as on 31-12-2022.

Whereas, as per Govt. Order No:- 103 JK(SW) of 2023 dated:- 28-04-2023 this office had submitted proposal for advertisement of 28 nos. of Sanginis (AWWs).

Whereas, in response to the above mentioned proposal this office had received the approval for 28 nos. of posts of Sanginis (AWWs) from the office of Mission Director POSHAN J&K vide No:- MD/POSHAN/Esstt/13362-68 dated: 10-05-2023.

Whereas, this office had invited application forms from eligible candidates for the posts of 28 nos. of Sanginis (AWWs) vide advertisement Notice No:- 01 of 2023 dated:- 15-05-2023.

Whereas, 168 nos. of applications forms were received against 28 nos. of posts of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and the merit list of 25 nos. of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) was prepared accordingly.

Whereas, a meeting of District level selection Committee was held on 23-06-2023 in the Conference hall of DC office complex Reasi wherein the provisional Selection list of 22 nos. of Sanginis was prepared and got published vide letter No:- CDPO/M/2023-24/ 322-27 dated:- 24-06-2023 in leading daily newspapers.

Whereas, the final selection list of 22 nos. of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) was submitted to the Office of Programme Officer POSHAN Reasi for its approval from the worthy ADDC Reasi.

Whereas, the Provisional Selection list of 03 Nos. of Sanginis of AWCs viz. Hill Jamlan, Chakli, and Shikari were withheld due to Objections, and the matter was taken up with SDM Mahore for verification vide this office letter No: CDPO/M/2023-24/375-79 dated: 19-07-2023.

Whereas the Provisional selection list of AWC Hill Jamlan namely Gulzar Banoo was cancelled and the 2nd candidate as per merit list namely Shahnaz Akhter D/O Nishat Hussain was proposed for Provisional Selection list.

Whereas, the Provisional Selection was prepared and got published vide letter No: CDPO/M/2023-24/1165-72 dated: 18-01-2024 in leading daily newspapers.

Whereas in response to the above mentioned letter the concerned SDM has provided the verification report wherein it was mentioned that the Provisionally selected candidate of AWC Shikari namely KM Meenakshi W/O Lehar Singh does not fall in the Panchayat electoral roll of Panchayat Shikari (Copy Enclosed).

Keeping in view of the above, it is herby ordered that the Provisional Selection of candidate namely KM Meenakshi W/o Lehar Singh in AWC Shikari Panchayat Shikari is herby cancelled. Moreover, the candidate next in the Merit may be proposed for selection in the said AWC.
