Provisional Selection List Released at GMC Kathua
Selection List (Provisional) of Senior Residents/Demonstrators in various disciplines of Government Medical College, Kathua on tenure basis.

Whereas, rolling advertisement notice for the post of Senior Resident/Demonstrator in various disciplines was notified vide this office order Advertisement Notice No. GMCK/Advt-G/2026-27/01 dated 16.04.2026.
Whereas, only one candidate applied for the post of Senior Resident in Medicine. Therefore, the selection list is issued in the interest of patient care.
ORDER
As such, recommended by the Selection Committee, the selection list for the post of Senior Resident in various disciplines of GMC Kathua is enclosed as Annexure-A.
All selected candidates are directed to report to the office of the Principal, Government Medical College, Kathua within 07 days from the issuance of this order. Salary shall be disbursed only after receipt of satisfactory character and antecedent verification report from CID, J&K.

1. Joining Application
Candidates shall be allowed to join strictly in order of merit and subject to availability of vacancy in the concerned department. Appointment order shall be issued as and when vacancy becomes available.
2. Selection Order
Provisionally selected candidates must bring 02 office files and 02 sets of self-attested photocopies of the following documents at the time of joining:
10th Diploma/Marks Card (Date of Birth proof)
MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate / Medical M.Sc Degree Certificate
MBBS/BDS Registration Certificate
MBBS/BDS Marks Card (All Professional Exams) / Medical M.Sc Marks Card (All Semesters)
MBBS/BDS Attempt Certificate
MBBS Internship Completion Certificate
MD/MS/Medical PhD Degree
MD/MS Registration Certificate
Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K
J&K Bank Passbook Copy (for salary)
Affidavit duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate as per Annexure-B
All candidates are informed that CID verification is completely online. Candidates must have a valid mobile number. They will receive an SMS from CID Headquarters containing Form ID, password, and a link to submit details online.
Candidates must complete and submit the CID form within seven days of receiving the SMS. Incomplete or incorrect forms may delay verification.
ANNEXURE – B
Terms & Conditions :
Tenure appointment is subject to satisfactory work and conduct. In case of misconduct, negligence, strike, or activities affecting patient care, services shall be terminated without notice.
No claim for regular appointment or extension shall be entertained.
Candidate must stay in college/hospital premises if accommodation is available or near campus otherwise.
Private practice during tenure is strictly prohibited.
Salary shall be released only after satisfactory CID verification.
Candidate leaving after six months must give one month’s prior notice or deposit one month’s salary.
Decision of the Principal, GMC Kathua shall be final in all matters of interpretation.
