Walk-in-Interview for Recruitment of Skilled Artificial Insemination Worker
Applications are invited from eligible and desirous candidates for a Walk-in-Interview for the
temporary positions of Skilled Artificial Insemination Worker under JKST&IC funded research project in the Division of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, R. S. Pura, Jammu on 14/05/2026 at the Directorate of Research, SKUAST-J, Main Campus, Chatha, Jammu
Name of Post : Skilled Artificial Insemination Worker

Qualification : Minimum 10th pass with Skill India or equivalent Certificate in Artificial
Insemination Technician Course
Experience : At least one year experience in performing Artificial Insemination in dairy
animals
Emoluments : Rs. 15,000/- per month (consolidated)

Title of the Project: Enhancement of Reproductive Efficiency in Dairy Animals through Integrated Use of Reproductive Biotechnologies.
Duration : 6 months (initially), extendable up to the period of research project (Dec. 2027) based on performance and fund availability.

Terms & Conditions :
1. The position is purely temporary on contractual basis & co-terminus with the project duration ending Dec. 2027, to be filled initially for six months and further extendable subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate.
2. The appointee can be terminated by the University/PI in case of unsatisfactory work and Shortage of funds at any time.
3. The appointment shall have no legal claim for regular adjustment/absorption in SKUAST-J
