Walk-in Interview for Young Professional-I
The Directorate of Research, Main Campus Chatha, SKUAST-Jammu has issued a notification for a Walk-in Interview for the recruitment of Young Professional-I (2 Posts) under an ICAR-National Institute of Agricultural Economics & Policy Research (ICAR-NIAP) funded networking project.
The project is titled “Ecosystems, Agribusiness and Institutions”, with the Market Information System as one of its components.
Walk-in Interview Details
The walk-in interview is scheduled for 19 October 2026 (Monday) at 11:00 AM.
The interview will be conducted at:
Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu
Main Campus, Chatha, Jammu
Eligible candidates possessing the required educational qualification and experience may appear for the interview in person.

Essential Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics
MBA (ABM)
M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension Education
Candidates meeting the prescribed educational requirements may appear for the walk-in interview.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
Preference may be given to candidates having:
Knowledge of field research
Experience in documentation

Good report-writing skills
Proficiency in computer applications
Proficiency in speaking the local language
These additional skills may be advantageous for working on the project and handling research-related responsibilities.
Remuneration
The selected candidates will receive an emolument of ₹30,000 per month (consolidated).
Duration of Engagement
The engagement will be for 6 months, up to March 2027, or until the completion of the project, whichever is applicable as per the project requirements.

Self-attested copies of all relevant documents
Educational qualification certificates
Experience certificates, wherever applicable
Other supporting documents related to eligibility
Candidates must also bring the original documents for verification during the interview.
