Various Job Recruitment in Govt. Dental College & Hospital Srinagar

Online application forms from the eligible candidates who are domicile of Union Territory of J&K are invited for the tenure post of Registrar/Tutors in the below mentioned discipline of this College as per the relevant rules in vogue for a period of one (1) year in the first instance further extendable on year to year basis upto maximum of three (3) years subject to Satisfactory work and conduct certificate from the concerned HOD.

The application process shall be completed/ submitted in the online mode only. In this regard, applicants are directed to visit the official website of this Institution (www.gdcsrinagar.org) for submission of their application forms. The applicants are advised to upload the following documents duly self-attested.

The applicants are also advised to upload the fee receipt after depositing fee in any J&K Bank Branch.

The applicants can apply online upto 11-08-2023 (03:00 PM). The link will be available from 22-07-2023 to 11-08-2023 upto 03:00PM.

List of documents to be uploaded :

1. BDS Degree Certificate.

2. Marks certificate of all the BDS Examinations.

3. Internship completion certificate of BDS.

4. MDS Degree certificate.

5. Valid Dental Council Registration Certificate with updated renewal.

6. Adhaar Card & Pan Card Mandatory as per Dental Council of India (DCI).

7. Academic Honours :-

I. Best outgoing student in each year in University Professional Examination (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th).

a) Overall 1st position/Overall 2nd position/Overall 3rd position.

II. Distinction in any subject in University Professional Examination.

III. Subject :

a) 1st position/ 2nd position/ 3rd position in University Professional Examination.

IV. Paper presentation in National / International Conferences.

V. Poster presentation in National / International Conferences.

VI. Best paper award.

VII. Best poster award.

VIII. Best video presentation (if any)

8. In support of Academic Honours (S. No. 7) kindly upload self attested PDF scanned copies of the below mentioned while submitting the online forms.
Additional documents required to be uploaded in support of S. No 7 sec IV, V, VI, VII, VIII as below:

I. Certificate of attendance of Conference.
II. Certificate of conference Registration (Pay receipt).
III. Acceptance letter (Paper/Poster) from the Organizing committee.
IV. Letter from concerned Head of the Department during PG Period/for the period he/she has work under his/her control wherever, applicable.
V. The Scientific Brochure of the conference in which the name of the applicant is mentioned.
VI. Photograph receiving certificate of presentation (Paper/Poster)
VII. A copy of presentation/poster presented in National/International Conference.
VIII. Certificate for the best video presentation (Subject to submission of Pen Drive of the same)
IX. Any other documents in support of the claim.
X. In respect of S. No. 7 sec VIII the video of the presentation be submitted in the office on a pen drive
before/on the last date of submission of online application form
9. Date of Birth Certificate.
10. Domicile Proof


1. The online form of the candidates shall be accepted provisionally subject to verification.

2. The in-service doctors shall be allowed to participate in the selection process only with the prior permission of the Administrative Department as per the policy/guidelines issued by the Govt. vide Order No. 164-ME of 2012 dated 02.03.2012 followed by Govt. Order No. 474-HME of 2014 dated: 11-08-2014 86

Circular No. 58-JK (HME) of 2022 dated: 18-11-2022.

3. The in-service applicant has to forward his/her application form through proper channel.

4. In-service candidate if selected shall be on deputation for three (3) years as per SRO-75 dated 15- 04-1993.

5. The non-service applicant shall be engaged on academic arrangement basis as per terms and conditions of S.0 364 dated: 27-11-2020.

6. The appointee shall be entitled the salary as applicable under S.O-364 dated 27-11-2020.

7. The Maximum age for non-service applicants at the time of submission of application should be 50 years.

8. The applicant should have completed BDS/MDS from the Institution recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).

9. Those doctors who have already completed their tenure /working as Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator after their Post Graduation in the discipline in any institution as recognized/approved by Dental Council of India within or outside the UT need not to apply and their application forms shall not be considered.

However, this restriction shall not be applicable in respect of such doctors who have done their Registrarship /Tutorship/ Demonstratorship in the discipline prior to the passing of their post-graduation.

10. The applicants who have earlier been appointed as Registrar/ Demonstrator/Tutor in any discipline in the institution as recognised/approved by Dental Council of India, but have not completed their tenure for one reason or the other shall not be considered.

11. The candidates shall abide by all the instructions issued y the Administrative Department as well as Dental Council of India fro time to time in this regard.
