JKSSB Revised Exam Dates 2026 : JKSSB Reschedules OMR Based Written Examinations for Health and Medical Education Department Posts
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a notice regarding the rescheduling and postponement of OMR-based written examinations for various posts under the Health and Medical Education Department advertised vide Notification No. 07 of 2025.
According to the JKSSB notice dated 17 September 2026, the examination dates for three posts have been revised. The examination for the post of Dresser/Junior Pharmacist has also been postponed, with its fresh examination date to be notified separately.
JKSSB Revised Exam Dates 2026
Female MPHW / Male Multipurpose Health Worker
The OMR-based written examination for Female MPHW/Male Multipurpose Health Worker, covering Item Nos. 35–59, was earlier scheduled for 20 September 2026 (Sunday).
The examination has now been rescheduled to:
New Exam Date: 11 October 2026 (Sunday)
Junior Theatre Technician
The examination for the post of Junior Theatre Technician, covering Item Nos. 109–116, was earlier scheduled for 24 September 2026 (Thursday).
The revised examination date is:

New Exam Date: 29 October 2026 (Thursday)
Health Educator
The OMR-based written examination for Health Educator, Item No. 137, was earlier scheduled for 27 September 2026 (Sunday).
The examination will now be conducted on:

JKSSB Dresser/Junior Pharmacist Exam Postponed
The OMR-based Written Examination for the post of Dresser/Junior Pharmacist, Item Nos. 66–76, which was scheduled to be held on 11 October 2026 (Sunday), has also been postponed.
JKSSB has stated that the fresh date of examination will be notified separately.
JKSSB Admit Cards 2026
The Admit Cards for the concerned examinations will be made available on the official JKSSB website seven days prior to the date of examination.
Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board for the latest information, examination updates and further notifications.
Important JKSSB Exam Update
Candidates appearing for the above-mentioned examinations should carefully note their revised examination dates and make necessary preparations accordingly. The Dresser/Junior Pharmacist candidates should wait for the separate notification regarding the fresh examination date.
