Government College for Women, Nawa Kadal, Srinagar has implemented strict disciplinary regulations, announcing a complete prohibition on the use of mobile phones and engagement in social media activities within the college campus. The measures take immediate effect, with authorities warning that any violation will invite instant suspension.
According to an official notice, students have been directed to strictly adhere to a set of guidelines aimed at ensuring discipline and the smooth functioning of the institution.
The order bars the use of mobile phones in all areas of the campus and strictly forbids recording or creating videos, including short clips and reels.
The notice further prohibits uploading any form of content on social media from within the college premises. College authorities have made it clear that any breach of this rule will lead to immediate suspension without prior notice, underscoring the zero-tolerance approach being adopted.
In addition, students are not allowed to place or receive online orders, including food items and parcels, while on campus. During class hours, mobile phones must remain switched to silent mode and kept inside bags at all times.
The college administration has appealed to students to comply with these instructions in order to maintain discipline, decorum, and a conducive academic atmosphere.
